Agriculture Development and Effective utilization of Land
Agriculture is the back born of our country. In the Global warming scenario development of Agriculture and production is a risky factor. The future requirement of food for humanity is in uncertain. In Kerala large area of land is remain uncultivated due to the lack of agriculture labourers and increased cultivation cost. In kerala the application of Machines for agriculture operations are very less. Youngsters are not much interested in old and traditional agricultural operations. Large scale application of machines and tools for agriculture operations will attract youngsters to the field of Agriculture. We target to establish a group with people who are technically qualified for machinery operations and agricultural operations. They will be equipped with well training to undertake all activities in related with Agriculture. They will be deployed to agriculture fields to undertake the activities in consent and in association with the land owners.
We are also targeting to cultivate protect and maintain coconut palms in kerala, most of the existing coconut palms are remaining disease affected and unproductive. We are ready to undertake cultivation of fruit plants in the lands where there is no cultivation for the last several years. All these agriculture operations will help and support food security and sustainable growth of agriculture.
In order to achieve our target to undertake Agricultural activities, coconut palm cultivation and Fruit Plants cultivation with the help of machines and tools in Kollam and Trivandrum Districts of Kerala, at the initial stage, the required total cost is Rupees Two crores. If sufficient funds are available this project can provide employment to 60 people.
